The moose was the first American animal that I decided to sculpt. It is so different from the
large wild animals I knew from Africa. It was the face that was the intersting part. How could
I capture that essence of the Moose of ungainly elegance.
It seemed to be out of proportion yet in proportion. All the parts somehow balanced out as it always
does in nature.
It was first with the Moose that I decided to play with the idea of two animals in symmetry to give
and idea of he harmony and balance of nature.
